Magic Bacalar Marine invites you to live the wonderful experience of learning to sail in the seven colors lagoon of Bacalar. We count with three different sailing courses: windsurf, sunfish sailboat and catamaran.

These courses we offer are ideal for kids from 6 years old to adults who want to live this unique experience of navigate a sailboat. Windsurf With help of our experienced, capable and certified crew you will learn this amusing sailing culture steering and navigating the windsurf table, guiding it to the direction you want with the help of the wind to enjoy pleasant and fantastic moments or also to compete professionally. The courses has three steps: Basic, intermediate and advanced. With a period of ten hours each one, mix of theory and practice. At the end of these courses the sailor can ride our beautiful waters of Bacalar at high speed, useful for open sea too.

The ten hours of each course will be divided in different lessons according to the availability of the instructor and the learner.

Sunfish sailboat

Another of our fabulous courses is the sunfish sailboat. Learn to sail this boat of 7ft, monohull type, capacity for 1 or 2 persons that can be used recreationally or for competition, with the orientation of our highly capable and certified instructors to make of you a sailor who might have fun and spend pretty entertaining moments on their own or with others.

It is navigated with a sail and a retractable centerboard, besides it is possible to compete in events for this type of boats that even participated in the Pan American games.

This course is divided in three levels: Basic, intermediate and advanced. It is designed to be completed in 10 hours, mix of theory and practice. At the end of the course you will be able to understand the basic terms of sailing as well as the components of a monohull sunfish sailboat.

Catamaran Hobie 14

Learn to sail this 14 ft catamaran with the help of one of our capable, experienced and certified instructors. Sail with a mainsail that has a lot of stability and buoyancy, perfect for beginners who start to sail. It is a funny catamaran for small families, exciting for the little ones and ideal for couples.

With the training of our qualified crew, certified to teach, we will make of you a sailor capable to have great moments with your friends, couple or also to be capable of navigate a competition catamaran 16” with harness and trapeze or even to crew a 36” estorla catamaran.

The courses are divided in three levels: beginners, intermediate and advanced, designed to be completed in 10 hours, mix of theory and practice. At the end of the course you will be able to steer and sail by your own.

In the first course you will understand the basic terms of sailing as well as the components of a recreational catamaran with 14 ft of length.

Each course will be divided in different lessons according to the availability of the instructor and the learner.
